Grading and Homework Expectations
Homework and grading procedures are to be found on the class syllabus and
given to each student at the beginning of each quarter. |
Absence and Tardy Policy
Students are responsible for making up all work missed during an absence.
Tests missed are to be made up on Fridays after school. The policy in
effect for tardiness will be given during class and enforced at the discretion
of the instructor. |
Student Behavior Expectations
The following guidelines will be given during class at the beginning of each
school year:
- Each student must be seated before the Bell begins to ring for each
class session. If not, the instructor may, at his discretion, assign
a detention or other appropriate penalty.
- Students may leave the room for emergencies, to use the rest room
facilities, or as approved by the instructor, but are required to make up
all missed time after school and at the discretion of the instructor.
|
Use of Student Agenda
Homework assignments and test dates are listed in the syllabus. Students,
however, are encouraged to copy these items into their agenda books.
Students should maintain a detailed list of all class instructions in their
agenda books.
|
Homework and Quizzes
Class notes are to be studied at home each evening. Papers must be
written when indicated in the syllabus. When quizzes are indicated in
the syllabus they will be given randomly and without notice based on the
previous day's lecture notes.
